3. Usage, device, and log information
We may collect technical and activity information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referral source, search queries, play events, likes, comments, follows, upload events, errors, security logs, and audit logs. This helps operate the service, provide creator analytics, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve TrackForge.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
TrackForge may use cookies, sessions, local storage, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect forms, maintain playback state, support security, and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly if cookies are blocked.
5. How we use information
We use information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, host and stream content, display profiles and tracks, organize albums and playlists, provide search and discovery, show analytics, process reports, moderate content, communicate service updates, secure the platform, detect fraud or abuse, debug errors, comply with law, and enforce our Terms of Service.
6. AI and third-party service providers
TrackForge may use third-party providers for hosting, storage, email, analytics, security, payment or monetization workflows, and AI-assisted features such as cover image generation. When you request an AI-assisted feature, relevant prompts, descriptions, metadata, or files may be sent to the provider as needed to perform that feature. Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
7. How information is shared
Public content and profile information may be visible to other users and visitors based on your visibility settings. This can include tracks, albums, artwork, descriptions, comments, likes, creator handle, and public profile details. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, preserve uploaded content, support analytics, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, secure the platform, and maintain backups. Deleted content may remain in backups, logs, or audit records for a limited period where technically or legally necessary.
